Principal's Message

Welcome Timberwolves!
At Oakland Bay Junior High School our mission is to prepare students to be successful in high school and in life. OBJH serves approximately 600 7th and 8th-grade students within the Shelton community. We offer a diverse curriculum to support our students' needs. OBJH is very proud to be a school that helps to prepare students for college and careers beyond high school. Students have the opportunity to be a part of Art, Band, Choir, Piano, Project Lead the Way, Engineering, Swimming, and Computers as elective options.
OBJH follows the Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports (PBIS) model to help students become responsible, respectful, and resilient. Our students also have opportunities to join various extracurricular activities such as sports, clubs, and other various activities.
Our priorities at Oakland Bay are aligned with those of the Shelton School District goals and strategic plan. We look forward to partnering with you to be champions for your students.
